As the year unfolds and we Try to balance life with all of the hustle, bustle, and responsibilities that come with it, prioritizing our mental health and taking care of our well-being is something we shouldn't overlook. Having the right mindset and being your best will help you during stress and tension.

Nevertheless, not everyone knows right and wrong about self-care, and that’s because it is not one size fits all. Everyone has a different interpretation of what self means to them.

However, Here are some helpful do’s and don’ts to guide you in your care journey.

DO´S

✔️Aim for proper sleep each night.

✔️Practice gratitude.

✔️Exercise regularly - even if it's just a 10-15 minute each day.

✔️Pay attention to your diet and eat a healthy meal.

✔️Find activities you enjoy that bring you joy.

✔️Spend time with the right people that motivate, and make you feel good.

✔️Make out time for yourself. Create a calming space for yourself at home.

✔️Set boundaries with people who don't respect them.

✔️Take breaks; you deserve them, and allow yourself to relax.

✔️Practice meditation and breathing.

✔️Your feeling is valid; healthily express them and focus on the things you can control.

✔️Find time for creating goals, and leave your comfort zone to Learn something new.

✔️Celebrate your small wins and take reflect to reflect on your goal.

✔️Practice self-compassion and forgive yourself.

✔️Take time to reflect and acknowledge your progress.

DON'TS

❌ Don't neglect your physical health; get regular check-ups.
